Thank you, Ridgefield!

Active community member and advocate of the Ridgefield Community Library, Kathy Winters, is asking for your help to buy a $5,000 item for the new library that will benefit many people: a hearing loop.

What is a hearing loop and who benefits? It's a specific sound system developed for people with hearing aids or cochlear implants that provides sound directly through their device, rather than from a distance. It makes a tremendous difference for anyone who is hearing impaired.

Fundraising for the new library began early in 2016. Five years and many fundraisers later, Kathy is asking you to help her celebrate her 85th birthday by donating to the 10% for 85 Campaign. The campaign runs for 85 days starting on her birthday, January 16, until April 11.

Kathy is adding her money to yours! She will add 10% to your donation up to $5,000. If you give $10, she'll add $1; if you give $50, she'll add $5; if you give $500, the library gets $550; and so on. Tell everyone you know!

If you would like to donate to Kathy's 10% for 85 Campaign, please make checks payable to Friends of Ridgefield Community Library and mail to:
