If you haven’t heard yet, starting June 1 libraries across the District will be open expanded hours. In Ridgefield, the library will be open on Monday until 7:00 PM, on Tuesday until 8:00 PM and Thursday until 8:00 PM.
This library is also adding additional staff: a full-time Senior Library Assistant who will work Tuesday through Saturday and a full-time Public Service Assistant who will work Tuesday through Saturday. I’ve also shifted schedules for one of the Public Service Assistants and one of the Senior Library Assistants to better meet branch needs, which meant at least partly increasing capacity on Monday and Saturday.
