Monthly Meetings are usually on the third Thursday of each month.

Start time is 6:00 PM. We try to keep our meetings to one hour.

We meet in the Allene Wodaege Community Room at the Ridgefield Community Library.

Everyone is welcome.

2025 General Meeting dates

May 15 - Nominees are presented for 2025-2026 Board positions

June 12 - this is our Annual Meeting and the meeting where Board members are elected for the coming year. (June 19, our regular meeting day, is a federal holiday and the library will be closed.)

July 1 --New Fiscal Year and New Membership Year begin

October - TBD (3rd Thursday is the Authors & Illustrators Fundraiser)

Large Used Book Sales We have three large used book sales each year on the first Saturday of February, October, and June. (The Friends Used Book Store is open whenever the Library is open and is located in the Main Avenue foyer.)

June 7, 2025 -- Spring Large Used Book Sale

October 4, 2025 -- Fall Large Used Book Sale

February 7, 2026 -- Winter Large Used Book Sale

Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

FOL Fundraiser - Author Susan Tate Ankeny - Wednesday May 21, 2025. Her first book was The Girl and the Bombardier and her second book is American Fly Girl. Free registration for Veterans, all others $10. All proceeds will be used to enhance the library's World War II collection.

Storybook Adventures - Friday, July 11, 2025 - a FREE event happening in Davis Park and presented by the Friends of the Library and community volunteers. Watch for more information on the super fun event!
